MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to enforce intensified operations against Philippine offshore gaming operators (Pogos) and Internet Gaming Licensees (IGLs) in the country following an executive order released by the Palace last week.

EO No. 74 was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin last November 5 and released to the media last Friday, November 8. The order contains the guidelines for the total Pogo and IGL ban as it prohibits the application and renewal of new licenses, permits, and authorizations.

“We encourage public participation in this initiative. We urge all citizens to remain vigilant and report any information regarding suspected Pogo operations in their areas,” it added.
